No. 01Our Promise

We design every Serenity piece for you to live with, not just unbox. If a piece doesn’t feel right — fit, fabric, or finish — we make returns straightforward, fair, and free of hidden conditions.

No. 02The 7-Day Window

You can request a return within 7 days of delivery. The 7-day window starts on the day you receive the package (per the courier’s delivery record).

Return window: 7 days from delivery. Return requests raised after this window cannot be accepted.

No. 03What You Can Return

Most products on Serenity Garments are eligible for return, provided:

  • The item is in original, unworn, unwashed condition
  • All original tags, labels, and branded packaging are intact
  • The item is free of stains, perfumes, deodorants, makeup marks, or any signs of use
  • The return is initiated within the 7-day window

No. 04What You Cannot Return

The following are non-returnable:

  • Innerwear, loungewear (intimate items), and socks once opened or worn
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" on the product page
  • Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or normal wear and tear
  • Items returned after the 7-day window
  • Items returned without original tags and packaging
  • Customised, monogrammed, or made-to-order pieces (if offered in future)

No. 05How To Return

  1. Initiate the request: Email support@serenitygarments.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and a brief reason. (We use the reason to improve, not to gatekeep.)
  2. Confirmation: Within one business day, we will confirm eligibility and schedule a free reverse pickup with our courier partner
  3. Packaging: Place the item with all original tags and packaging in a sealed parcel. Write your order number clearly on the outside
  4. Pickup: Our courier will collect the parcel from your address (usually within 2–4 business days)
  5. Inspection: Once we receive it, our team checks the item within 2 business days
  6. Refund: If approved, your refund is initiated per our Refund Policy

No. 06Return Pickup

We arrange free reverse pickup in most serviceable pincodes. In rare cases where reverse pickup is not available, we will request that you self-ship the item to our warehouse. In such cases:

  • We will pre-approve the courier and arrangement
  • Reasonable courier charges (capped at ₹100) will be reimbursed with the refund on submission of proof

No. 07Exchanges

We currently process returns as refunds rather than direct exchanges. To exchange for a different size or piece, please:

  1. Return the original item per the steps above and receive your refund
  2. Place a fresh order for the desired size/piece

This ensures the new order is locked in immediately while the original return is processed, and avoids the new piece going out of stock while we wait.

No. 08Damaged Or Wrong Items

If your delivery is damaged, defective, or contains a piece different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Email support@serenitygarments.com with clear photos of the issue and your order number
  2. We will arrange a free reverse pickup and offer a full refund or a replacement, your choice
  3. In this case, all charges (including any shipping you paid) are refunded

No. 09Inspection & Approval

All returned items are inspected on arrival at our studio. We may reject a return if:

  • The item shows signs of use, wear, washing, or damage caused after delivery
  • Original tags or packaging are missing
  • The wrong item is returned (e.g. an item not part of the original order)

If a return is rejected, we will inform you with the reason and ship the item back to you at our expense.

No. 10Refund Timelines For Returns

Once a return is approved on inspection, refunds are initiated within 48 hours. Full timelines are detailed in our Refund Policy:

  • UPI / Prepaid: 5–7 business days to source account
  • COD: 7–10 business days to provided bank/UPI account

Shipping charges (if any) and the COD handling fee are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
