Cancellation Policy

No. 01Overview

We understand that plans change. This Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which you can cancel an order, the timelines that apply, and how refunds are processed for cancelled orders.

This policy should be read alongside our Refund Policy.

No. 02When You Can Cancel

You may cancel an order under the following conditions:

  • Before dispatch: Anytime before the order is handed to the courier — usually within 24–36 hours of order confirmation
  • After dispatch: Cancellation is not possible once the package has been picked up by the courier. In this case, please decline delivery or initiate a return per our Return Policy after delivery

No. 03How To Cancel

To cancel an order, please:

  1. Email support@serenitygarments.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request — [Your Order Number]"
  2. Or call us at +91 88717 96715 (Mon–Sat, 10:00–19:00 IST)
  3. Include your order number and a brief reason (optional)

We will confirm your cancellation by email within a few hours during business hours.

No. 04Refund For Cancelled Orders

Refund timelines for cancelled orders:

From our side, cancellation refunds are initiated within 24 hours of confirmation. Final credit to your account depends on processing by your bank and the payment intermediaries.

No. 05Cancellations By Serenity Garments

We reserve the right to cancel any order, at our discretion, in the following cases:

  • The product is out of stock at the time of dispatch despite being shown available at checkout
  • The shipping pincode is not serviceable by our courier partners
  • A pricing or descriptive error is detected on the product
  • We suspect fraud, misuse of promotional codes, or breach of our Terms & Conditions
  • The customer is unreachable for verification calls on COD orders after repeated attempts
  • Force majeure conditions prevent fulfilment

In all such cases, you will be informed by email and the full order amount (for prepaid) will be refunded automatically within 5–7 business days. There are no penalties for such cancellations.

No. 06Partial Cancellations

If your order has multiple items, you can request cancellation of specific items before dispatch. The refund will cover only the cancelled items. Shipping charges may be recalculated based on the revised order value.

No. 07Special Cases

  • Bulk orders (10+ pieces or value above ₹50,000): cancellation requests are reviewed case-by-case and approved at our discretion
  • Customised pieces: If we ever offer custom or made-to-order pieces in the future, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun. Specific terms will be displayed clearly at checkout
  • Sale or clearance items: Standard cancellation rules apply before dispatch; after dispatch these items are non-returnable

No. 09Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
